JOAN C. GAY
Joan C. Gay, age 76 years of
Point Place died Friday afternoon,
December 5,1997, in The Toledo
Hospital
Joan was born to Elsie and
Charles Sheets and was a long time
resident of Point Place. She was a
instrument technician for 13 years
at the Toledo Hospital retiring in
1985. Joan loved Point Place, her
gardening, reading and watching old
western movies. She spent most of
her life caring for others and was
most happy and fulfilled when she
could be helping others.
The widow of Clifford Gay, she is
survived by her daughters, Sue
(Gilbert) Naugle, Pam (Kenneth) Van
Camp; son, Edward (Molly) Gay; 8
grandchildren; 8 great-
grandchildren; sister, Dorothy
(Clarence) Fredrick; and brother,
Charles Sheets. She will be deeply
missed by her beloved pet, Bandit
Friends may call Sunday from 7-9
p. m. and on Monday from 2-9 p. m .
at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770
S. Reynolds Rd. where a Rosary will
be recited Monday evening at 7 p. m.
Funeral will be held Tuesday,
December 9, 1997, at 10:30 a. m. in
the mortuary with services to follow
in the chapel of Peace at Ottawa
Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
She left this life in the arms of her
children. We now release her into
the arms of Christ to continue in His
loving care. Our love and precious
memories of you will live on until we
all come together again in the
warmth of her loving arms.
The family suggests that tributes
take the form of contributions to the
Alzheimer's Association.
