Ronald Henry Meyerhofer met Diane Ray Trumbull in Los Angles California, and married her in her hometown, Caldwell Canyon County, Idaho on May 9, 1965. Their only child, Rhonda Kay Meyerhofer, was born December 16, 1965. Diane sent Ronald divorce paper while he was on duty in Vietnam. They were divorced May 9, 1967 in Bosie, Canyon County, Idaho.
Ronald sent the next thirteen years of his Navy career on various ships on the East and West Coast of the United States. He served on the:

He spent two years on shore duty managing a military par 3 golf course and a bowling alley at the Naval Air Station in Lake Hurst New Jersey.
Lucia Maria Meyerhofer
Ronald married Lucia Maria Santos February 21, 1976 in Vallejo, Solano County California. After twenty years of service, June 1978, Chief Petty Officer Ronald Henry Meyerhofer retired from the Untied States Navy. Ronald and Lucia lived in Vallejo California for about ten years. Ronald worked as a maintenance foreman for the California and Hawaiian Sugar Company, in Crockett, Contra Costa County, California. Lucia was born in Portugal. She was employed as a salesperson in a local jewelry store. Lucia's mother and a child from a previous marriage also lived in their home. Ronald and Lucia had no children. On June 6, 1988 Lucia and Ronald were divorced in Vallejo California.
Ronald was definitely a free spirited person. He traveled about the Untied States. He lived and worked in Oklahoma, Las Vegas Nevada, Florida, and Georgia. He usually lived near military bases where he could receive medical and PX privileges.
In 1998 Ronald had angioplasty surgery on both his legs to restore blood circulation. Ronald was a heavy smoker most of his life. His hobbies included bowling, golf, fishing and water sports.

On May 7, 1999 Ronald married Mary Francis Seabolt [RAY] in Conyers Rockdale County Georgia. Mary was born March 23, 1957 in Grady Hospital, Atlanta, Fulton County Georgia.
